GiveHear began at HearCare Audiology as the brainchild of owner Nora Stewart. With the help of the HearCare Audiology team, who courageously donated their own time, they decided enough was enough for the people of Northeast Indiana who desperately needed and wanted to hear, but could not afford to. With cutbacks in programs like Medicaid, even those with some benefits found those benefits cut back and harder to access as providers in the area stopped accepting the program.
GiveHear is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to enhancing positive communication. For more information about GiveHear, please visit their website at givehear.org/.
You can join GiveHear’s humanitarian efforts by donating financially, your time, and even your old hearing aids!
Your financial support of GiveHear enables them to reach further as they continue to provide access to affordable hearing healthcare.
Within the last four years, they have welcomed over 250 individual patients into the clinic and screen over 1000 individuals and children.
Your hearing device donation provides the Gift of Hearing to people who otherwise would have no access to hearing healthcare. Bring your old hearing aids and supplies to our office and we’ll make sure that your contribution will impact families and communities with quality audiology care and better hearing!
There are several ways that you can help Give Hear complete their work in providing hearing to low-income children and adults in Northeast Indiana and beyond. They host annual events that you can volunteer at and attend.
Our team at HearCare Audiology has partnered with Entheos Audiology Cooperative and Hearing the Call to provide the Gift of Hearing to amazing people all over the world:
